How do I book my dog's first appointment?

Click Book Now, choose your service and size, pick a date and time, enter your dog's details, and pay a small deposit. We'll send confirmation via email.

What's your cancellation policy?

You can cancel for free up to 24 hours before your appointment. Within 24 hours, the deposit becomes non-refundable so we can fairly compensate your groomer.

Are vaccinations required?

Yes — current Rabies and DHPP vaccines are required for all dogs over 16 weeks. Please email proof to hello@ruffhouse.com before your first visit.

How long does a full groom take?

Typically 2-3 hours from drop-off to pickup. Larger or double-coated breeds may take longer. We never rush — we'd rather take our time and do it right.

What if my dog is anxious or has never been groomed?

Our fear-free certified groomers excel with anxious dogs. We start with a short meet-and-greet and build from there. We never sedate or force a dog through a groom.

Do you offer pickup and drop-off?

Not yet — but it's on our 2026 roadmap! For now, you're welcome to wait in our calm waiting area or pop out and grab a coffee.

Can I request the same groomer every time?

Absolutely. When booking, choose your preferred groomer. Repeat visits with the same groomer help your pup build trust.

Do you groom cats?

Right now, only good dogs. We may expand to cats one day, but for now we're keeping our focus.
